Our Story
Built From the Broken Pieces
On Christmas Eve of 2014, a tornado swept through our property and took what we thought was our dream with it. Standing among the damage, it felt like everything we had hoped to build here was gone.
But the sun did rise that morning. And we made a decision — to brush the dirt off and build something beautiful in the place of that devastation. The boards you see throughout our building today are the actual wood from the surrounding property, damaged by that December tornado. We couldn't throw them away. They're part of the story.
Over the next several months we began our journey, and Stacy's Skillet was born — a place for our community to dine, visit with friends, and feel at home. We hope you've enjoyed your visit today as much as we have enjoyed seeing our dream actually come true.

Common Questions
What are your hours?
Monday through Wednesday we serve lunch from 11am to 2pm. On Thursday we serve lunch from 11am to 2pm and dinner from 4pm to 8pm. On Friday we serve lunch from 11am to 2pm and dinner from 4pm until, and on Saturday dinner is from 4pm until. "Until" means we stay open as long as guests are here. We are closed on Sunday.
What is the difference between the House Menu and the Lunch Menu?
The House Menu is our full menu and is available every day we are open, at lunch and at dinner. The Lunch Menu is only available Monday through Friday from 11am to 2pm. Every lunch special is $15 and includes a lunch portion entree, salad bar, and a drink.
Do you have a salad bar?
Yes. Our salad bar is all you can eat, and it comes with our steaks, seafood, pork and chicken plates, and lunch specials. You can also get just the salad bar for $12. No to-go boxes, please.
Do you take reservations, and do you have private dining?
Yes to both. We take reservations and we have a private dining room. To schedule either one, call us at (601) 736-0602 and talk with someone.
Do you have a kids menu?
Yes. Our Little Skillets menu is for ages eleven and under, and every meal includes a salad and a drink.
Can I order online?
Yes. You can order online through DoorDash using the Order on DoorDash button on this page.
Is a gratuity added for large parties?
A 20% gratuity may be added to parties of 10 or more.

Is the building really built from wood damaged by a tornado?
Yes. The boards you see throughout our building are the actual wood from the surrounding property that was damaged by the tornado on Christmas Eve of 2014.
